We currently are looking for a KP / runner.

Job Summary:
As a Kitchen Porter (KP) at The Duck and Bean, you will play a vital role in supporting the kitchen team by ensuring cleanliness, organization, and efficiency in the kitchen area. You will contribute to maintaining the high standards of food preparation and service in our cafe.

Hours: Saturdays 10 - 3.30 with Thursday 10 - 3 also over summer and busy periods.

Responsibilities:
- Assist with basic food preparation tasks as directed by the kitchen staff.
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in the kitchen area, including washing dishes, utensils, and equipment.
- Support the kitchen team in receiving and storing deliveries.
- Dispose of waste properly and ensure recycling procedures are followed.
- Adhere to health and safety regulations at all times.
- Collaborate with the kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations during busy periods.
- Assist in maintaining inventory levels and notifying management of any shortages.

Requirements:
- No previous experience needed, full training provided
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Willingness to learn and take direction from senior kitchen staff.
- Team player with good communication skills.
- Flexibility to work varied shifts including weekends and evenings.
